Crawford Bay Regional Park Beach

The Crawford Creek Regional Park Beach is home to two sand beaches on Kootenay Lake and about a 1 hour drive from Creston near the small village of Crawford Bay.

Sheltered in the Crawford Bay the wide, shallow beach boasts some of the warmest water on Kootenay Lake and the wide open south-facing beach also offers long days of sunshine. The nearby Crawford Bay Wetlands also offer some nice trails to explore for the more adventurous.

Access to the beach is just off the south side of Hwy 3A after the Crawford Creek bridge, which currently is unmarked. Note that there are limited amenities here including parking and one small outhouse. There are no garbage cans so park users are expected to pack out their own.
