The Blossom Festival occurs annually each Victoria Day Weekend, a three day holiday weekend in in May in British Columbia that falls on the weekend before May 25, Queen Victoria's actual birthday. Starting on Friday, the festival kicks off kick off with the Opening Ceremonies Show. Saturday is packed with excitement, including the beloved Blossom Festival Parade, Creston Valley Farmers' Market, Lower Kootenay Band's Pow Wow, live music at various venues around town and so much more. Finally, on Sunday the festival wraps up with the final performances of the Lower Kootenay Band Pow Wow, the Kid's Parade, and more family friendly events.
