The closest boat launch on Kootenay Lake from Creston, the Kuskanook Harbour & Boat Launch provides easy access to the lake for those who want to get out on the lake for boating and fishing as well as for kayaking, canoeing, and SUPing.
The launch is maintained by the Kuskanook Harbour Society, which sells annual memberships for the marina as well as annual & one time launch passes, which can be purchased at the office or at Wynndel Foods.
The facility is open to public for fishing off the dock and also includes a picnic area, rest area, outhouses, and garbage bins.
