Twin Bays Beach

A pleasant 25 minute drive north of Creston, Twin Bays is a rare sand beach with shallow water, making it one of the most popular beaches on the East Shore of Kootenay Lake, especially for families.

Amenities include garbage bins and a nearby day use parking area with basic washrooms. However, note that parking & bathrooms are a few hundred meters down Twin Bays road north of the beach entrance, so some walking back along the road is required to get back to the entrance.

*** Be advised that Twin Bays is also a busy residential area, so please be respectful and use the designated entrance, properly dispose of garbage, and do not bring pets to the beach.
